My Story:

So, my name is the Arabic word for "struggle” and “contention.”

I'm Sudanese but grew up in Libya, Egypt and Yemen.

Basically, all the conflict countries.

Besides instigating international strife, I really enjoy new music, new places, baseball games and second lunch.

I’m also a Taurus in case you needed to know.

    An LA film student recorded footage on each day of 2011 and chose one second per day to edit into a beautiful montage set to LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends."

    A provocative use of the QR code

    To promote safe sex among young people, Stockholm commissioned a campaign that uses QR codes on free condoms.  When scanned, the QR code downloads an app that allows users to track and post their “activity.”  The information was then used to create engaging hyperlocal advertising.

    A great sports commercial from someone other than Nike

    Derek Rose and Adidas team up for an awesome spot. There's a lot of interesting use of symbolism, from the bull fighting set-up (He plays for the Chicago Bulls, his last name is Rose) to the colors the matadors are wearing. Check it out, and see if you can spot more.
